Hello Friends,

We trust this note finds you well and experiencing God’s great love for you. We are writing to you with a special announcement that The Rock Christian Bookstore will be purchased by The Light Christian Bookstore in Greenville effective February 1, 2010. The new combination of our two stores will be at their location of 2803-E South Evans Street. We have been in discussions with them since January of 2009 and prayerfully sought the Lord for His direction and wisdom. We have a real witness that the “two stores are to become one.” We believe that there is the potential for the combination of the two stores to thrive, where independent of each other we have been surviving. Ultimately, our desire is to better serve the Body of Christ in our community with the best in Christian resources and gifts.

We are excited for the owners of The Light, John Stuckey and Kim Reynolds, who will be leading the store into this new season. We believe our combined customers will be receiving the best of both worlds under one roof of 6,000 square feet of retail space. You will benefit from a larger selection of inventory of Bibles, books, music, gifts, home school curriculum, and much more at The Light Christian Bookstore. We greatly appreciate your loyal support over the last eight years and would encourage your patronage of The Light. John and Kim are committed to helping Hope of Glory Ministries and our local outreaches by hosting food and coat drives as well as helping with other needs as they may arise.
